NRTI’s full-time residential undergraduate programmes provide students the opportunity to learn from global faculty, practitioners, experts, and academicians, offering interdisciplinary immersion with focus on surface transportation.
Through a values-based approach to academic learning, students will be equipped with both a solid grounding in their core field of study, as well as core values, such as, inclusive leadership, nation-building, empathy, and environmental consciousness.
The focus of the programmes is to prepare intellectuals grounded in practicality and equipped with 21st century skills — critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration.
To earn a Bachelor’s degree, each student completes the requisite minimum credits over the programme period of three years (in case of BBA and BSc) and four years (in case of B.Tech.) comprising three trimesters each. Students typically study four to five courses in every trimester, and spend time in their final year, experiencing a live industry project or preparing a thesis.
