Equips students with the advanced knowledge and skills related to transportation engineering, highway design principles, pavement engineering, traffic management, and transportation planning. Includes courses such as highway planning and design, traffic engineering, pavement design and analysis, transportation system analysis, and road safety engineering. Provides experiential learning in design, development and maintenance of Roads and Highway using a mix of approaches such as laboratory exercises, software tools, and simulations. Experienced faculty members and field experts with expertise in roads and highway engineering will mentor the students for their research projects or thesis work.
