Dr. Navneet Lal Sharma holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Gati Shakti University Vadodara (formerly National Rail and Transport Institute), Gujarat India from August 2022. The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, established the GSV, the country’s first institution dedicated to the study of transportation. Prior to joining GSV, he worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon, India. He completed post-doctoral research at Indian Statistical Institute Chennai Centre, IIT Madras and IIT Kharagpur. He did his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Indore. He has been awarded several fellowships such as: SIRE; Universiti Sans Malaysia PDF; serb-npdf; ISI Chennai PDF and NBHM PhD Fellowship. His research area is Complex Analysis: Geometric Function Theory. Research Area(s)

  • Complex Analysis- Geometric Function Theory: Univalent Function Theory, Special Functions, q-theory.
  • To study analytic and geometric properties for the class of univalent function and for its geometric subclasses as starlike, convex, close-to-convex and spiral-like functions, etc.
  • To study the logarithmic coefficients and area integral problems.
  • To find the connection between q-theory and geometric function theory. My interest is to look for its applications and to deal with problems in several other situations.
