Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in the year 2022. GSV is on the lookout for dynamic candidates who can encourage, well connect with students; whom they can confide in and can help them come out of their emotional and stress issues, for engagement as a Student Counsellor.

Eligibility
|
Essential qualification:
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with relevant experience of four years after the qualifying degree, out of which at least two years of experience in counseling experience in an academic/ medical institution.
OR
Master’s degree in Psychology and diploma in Mental and/or Social Psychology with relevant experience of four years after the diploma out of which two years should be counseling experience in an academic/ medical institution

Duration of appointment
|
Initially for a period of 11 Months. The engagement may be extended further, based on the performance and requirement.

Consolidated Salary
|
In the range of Rs.50,000/- – 60,000/- (consolidated) PM
Compensation will be decided by the Selection Committee.

Leave entitlements
|
As this is a part-time engagement, no specific leave entitlement.

Engagement Modalities
|
Part-time; Monday to Saturday: 3 hrs daily .

General Instructions:

2. Candidates must attach scanned copies of educational qualification certificates & experience certificates while applying the online application form. The experience will not be considered without an experience certificate.
3. The shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce original educational certificates and experience certificates at the time of interview/written test/skill test.
4. The online application portal will be available up to 18/05/23. There is no need to send a hard copy of the application.
5. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the Interview/test.
6. GSV reserves the right to disengage any time without assigning any reasons thereof, by giving 1-month notice.
7. In case of large number of applications received, the candidates will be shortlisted. The decision of the committee to shortlist is final and binding. GSV may relax the experience criteria in the case of meritorious candidates.
8. The engagement is purely temporary in nature.
9. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of GSV in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, the conduct of examination/ interview will be final and no query or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
