About the Program

Civil Engineering is the backbone of civilisation — responsible for the highways, bridges, tunnels, stations, and urban systems that connect a nation. At GSV, this foundational discipline is supercharged with a specialization in Rail Engineering , giving students access to one of the world's largest and most complex rail networks for live learning.

Designed and delivered by experienced faculty and practicing railway engineers, the programme blends rigorous engineering fundamentals with railway-specific courses not available anywhere else in India — from geometric track design to safety and reliability engineering.

Students study full-time on GSV's heritage campus at Lalbaug, Vadodara — a landmark location that combines the character of a storied heritage building with modern academic and laboratory infrastructure.
