The event serves as a high-visibility platform where leading automotive giants, including Mahindra & Mahindra, evaluate participants for industry talent, offering direct networking and recruitment opportunities to standout engineering teams

Guesstimate is a business-oriented estimation challenge that tests participants’ analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and ability to make informed assumptions. Participants are presented with real-world business problems and are required to arrive at reasonable estimates using structured approaches, assumptions, and available information. The event encourages creativity, quick thinking, problem-solving, and effective decision-making while providing participants with practical exposure to business strategy and consulting-style problem solving.

Bidblitzz is an interactive business strategy and auction-based event that challenges participants to think strategically, make calculated decisions, and manage resources effectively. Through competitive bidding and dynamic business scenarios, participants test their negotiation skills, risk assessment, financial decision-making, and ability to adapt to changing situations. The event combines strategy, competition, and teamwork to provide an engaging and practical business experience.

Hult Prize is a global student entrepreneurship competition that challenges young innovators to develop impactful business ideas addressing pressing social and environmental challenges. At GSV, the event provides students with a platform to ideate, build, and pitch sustainable solutions while developing skills in entrepreneurship, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. Through multiple stages of competition, participants receive opportunities to refine their ideas, gain valuable feedback, and showcase their entrepreneurial potential on a global platform.

D&Q VERVE 1.0 is a dynamic and unconventional quiz competition that goes beyond traditional quizzing by testing participants on Music, Entertainment, Literature, and Arts. Designed as a fast-paced battle of knowledge, observation, and adaptability, the event features varied question formats, unexpected twists, and changing challenges that keep participants on their toes.

Baat Chit is the flagship debate event of the Debate & Quiz Society (D&Q), designed to test participants' argumentation, critical thinking, and spontaneity. The event has two rounds: the first involves a pre-announced topic, where participants prepare arguments either in favour of or against the motion. Selected participants advance to the second round, where they receive an on-the-spot topic and a few minutes to prepare before presenting their viewpoint. The final round is judged by faculty members.

Here, you step into the shoes of a parliamentarian, represent political parties, defend your ideology, debate, and fight for your vision of the country. Expect heated arguments, ideological clashes, unexpected twists, and peak parliamentary chaos! Become a lawyer and fight out your case in our simulated court case event, complete with a storyline, evidence, official documents, and news reporting. Bring your witnesses to try and to not only prove your case, but prove yourself the best lawyer in GSV.

GSVMUN is GSV’s take on the Model United Nations. Take the role of a diplomat of a country, represent the country and back its interests, form alliances, betray other delegates, form draft resolutions, fight to get them passed, and walk out of the GSVMUN as a more confident, fluent speaker.

Agnee is one of the biggest highlights of the GSV calendar and Malhaar's main event. The club plays an important role in bringing the stage alive through musical performances, creating memorable experiences filled with energy, talent, and the shared love for music.

Music doesn't stay limited to the cultural stage! Malhaar also performs at Epitome, the Tech Fest of GSV, adding rhythm, energy, and entertainment to the celebration of innovation and technology.

Some of our best moments happen when there is no stage, no competition, and no pressure, just music. Our jamming sessions bring musicians together to explore different sounds, collaborate, experiment, and simply enjoy creating music together.

Learning never stops at Malhaar. Through workshops and interactive sessions, students get opportunities to learn new techniques, understand different aspects of music, exchange knowledge, and grow together as musicians.

Ikshana is the annual student magazine of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, serving as a platform for students to showcase their creativity, ideas, and literary talent. Over the years, the publication has evolved from a biannual newsletter into one of the university's flagship literary publications, featuring original student contributions such as poems, stories, articles, essays, book and movie reviews, artworks, photography, and other creative works. To date, Ikshana has successfully published five student magazine editions under its current title, in addition to contributing to the university's official newsletters and faculty-requested special publications.

The Literary Club introduced the Battle of Wits during Agnee 22 , the first annual fest of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (then the National Rail and Transport Institute), on 9 May 2022. It is a pop culture competition comprising three exciting rounds: a trivia round to set the pace, a mystery round with a new theme each edition, and a final audio-visual round. Over the years, the event has undergone several format and name changes, evolving into one of the Literary Club's flagship events and a favorite among the GSV student community.

The Literary Club introduced this event on 18 September 2025. Inspired by the popular television game show Family Feud, the event features vocabulary-based challenges with a literary twist. Participants compete by answering survey-style questions, testing their language skills, quick thinking, and teamwork. One of the event's unique features is that even eliminated teams remain engaged, as audience members can continue earning points by answering bonus questions, making it an interactive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Spell Tech was first organized by the Literary Club on Engineer's Day in 2022. It is the club's signature vocabulary and articulation event, best described as GSV's own Spelling Bee with a technological twist. Participants compete through spelling rounds, vocabulary challenges, tongue twisters, and timed activities featuring engineering and technology-related terms, testing their language proficiency, articulation, accuracy, and quick thinking.
