Unique Features :

ADVANCED TRANSPORT ENGINEERING:

Equips students with the advanced knowledge and skills related to transportation engineering, highway design principles, pavement engineering, traffic management, and transportation planning.

EXPERIENTIAL LAB LEARNING:

Provides experiential learning in design, development and maintenance of Roads and Highway using a mix of approaches such as laboratory exercises, software tools, and simulations

EXPERT RESEARCH MENTORSHIP:

Experienced faculty members and field experts with expertise in roads and highway engineering will mentor the students for their research projects or thesis work.

PRACTICAL FIELD EXPOSURE:

Students will have opportunities for field visits, internships, or industry collaborations, allowing them to gain practical experience and exposure to real-world highway engineering projects.

CORE CURRICULUM:

Includes courses such as highway planning and design, traffic engineering, pavement design and analysis, transportation system analysis, and road safety engineering.

MODE OF DELIVERY — HYBRID

Programme delivered in hybrid mode with a mandatory two-week immersion programme every semester at the GSV Vadodara campus, along with physical attendance for end-semester examinations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (AY 2026-27)

● B.Tech / B.E. with minimum 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA/CPI for General / GEN-EWS / OBC candidates (50% or 5.5/10 for SC / ST / PWD).

● Candidate must be a full-time employee with minimum two years of work experience, sponsored by Industry, R&D organisations, Laboratories, NGOs or Banking Institutions.

● Submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer upon securing admission.

● Reservation as per Government of India norms.

SELECTION PROCESS

GSV Entrance Test

Conducted by the University on the scheduled date.

Personal Interview

For candidates shortlisted from the Entrance Test.

Final Merit

Entrance Test (50%) + Personal Interview (50%).
