About the Library

The Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) Library is located on the ground floor of the Academic Building at the GSV campus. The library serves as a central learning resource for students, faculty, and researchers. It houses a rich and diverse collection of books covering major disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Management. Special emphasis is given to resources in Rail Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, and Human Resource Management, along with a good collection of general reading and novels.

The library is fully automated using e-Granthalaya Library Management Software. Book circulation is carried out through an RFID-based system and smart cards, ensuring quick and efficient services.

The library provides well-organized sections including a Periodicals Section, New Arrivals Section, Rare Books Area, Stack Area, and Reading Area. A quiet and user-friendly environment supports academic study, research, and lifelong learning.
