Aujasya 2026: The Annual Sports Festival of GSV

Aujasya, translating to "Vitality" or "Energy," is the university's premier inter-school and inter-collegiate sports extravaganza. It is scheduled between January 23-25, 2026. Its primary objective is to foster a culture of health, teamwork, and spirited competition among students and faculty.

The event will be a multi-day festival featuring a wide array of sporting competitions. Core Athletics events (track and field) will form the foundation, including sprints, middle and long-distance runs, relays, jumps, and throws. Beyond athletics, Aujasya will host tournaments in football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and cricket.

More than just competitions, Aujasya 2026 aims to build community, encourage physical fitness, and uncover sporting talent within the university. It serves as a platform for leadership development for the organizing student committee and promotes values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The event will conclude with a vibrant closing ceremony to celebrate achievements.
