MDP on Supply Chain Science for Indian Air Force Officers

This intensive five-day program is designed to equip the officers of Indian Air Force (IAF) with advanced supply chain management principles and strategies. The course will delve into the intricacies of modern supply chain operations, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the Indian Armed Forces. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, enabling them to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. 

The proposed outreach activity will help Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya strengthen its academic and professional presence in the transportation and logistics sector by creating a platform for knowledge-sharing, expert interaction and practical exposure. It will enable participants to understand current developments, challenges and opportunities in transport, logistics, supply chain and infrastructure systems.

The activity will also support industry–academia interaction and help position GSV as a knowledge partner for capacity building in areas of national importance. By involving experts, stakeholders and participants, the programme will enhance institutional visibility, promote collaborative learning and contribute to skill development in the transportation and logistics domain.

By equipping the officers of the Indian Armed Forces with these skills and knowledge, this program will contribute to enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience of the IAF supply chain, ultimately supporting its mission and strategic objectiveness.
