CPSEs have earned the distinction of driving India's economy, contributing approximately 13-14% to India's GDP. Given their significant capital allocations, CPSE-executed infrastructure projects remain vulnerable to challenges of cost overruns, time delays, inadequate risk mitigation, and suboptimal asset utilization post-commissioning. Key gaps have been observed across the project lifecycle, such as Project Planning & Appraisal, Technology Adoption, Risk Management, Asset Management, Capacity & Governance etc.

The conclave seeks to address these challenges through structured peer learning, industry best practices, academic insights from GSV, and collaborative policy ideation — culminating in actionable reform recommendations.
