GSV Publication Cell is committed to publish research on real-life industry/ sector issues in the domain of Transportation and Logistics.

The Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) Publication Cell has been established for the publication of journals, books and case studies under GSV Copyright for the creation and dissemention of knowledge in the domain of Transportation and Logistics. The cell supports the university’s vision of excellence in education and industry driven research by facilitating the publication of books, journals, monographs, training manuals, and case studies needed for courses, executive training, and knowledge dissemination in the domain of Transportation and Logistics.

GSV Publication Cell publishes the unique intellectual content in the domain of Transportation and Logistics in three formats: 1) Books 2) Journal of Advances in Transportation and Multimodal Logistics (JATMML) 3) Newsletter

The GSV Publication Cell serves as the dedicated hub for fostering a culture of knowledge creation, dissemination, and intellectual growth in the niche area of Transportation and Logistics. It acts as a bridge between faculty, students, and the academic community by supporting the publication of scholarly works, research findings, and creative contributions in the sector.

Objectives

• To encourage faculty members, research scholars, and students to contribute quality academic and research publications.
• To provide a platform for publishing journals, newsletters, reports, monographs, and books.
• To maintain academic integrity and ensure adherence to ethical standards in all forms of publication.
• To document, archive, and promote the intellectual output of the institution.
• To create visibility for the institution’s academic and research achievements at regional, national, and international levels.

GSV Publication Cell publishes the unique intellectual content in the domain of Transportation and Logistics in following three formats:

• 1) Books
• 2) Journal of Advances in Transportation and Multimodal Logistics (JATMML)
• 3) Newsletter

Format 1: Books in the niche area of Transportation and Multimodal Logistics (Covering all three dimensions - Technology (Infrastructure), Management (Services), Policy (Regulations)) with ISBN Number.

Format 2: Journal of Advances in Transportation and Multimodal Logistics (JATMML)

• This journal will publish high quality research papers and cases in transportation and multimodal logistics (Covering all three dimensions - Technology (Infrastructure), Management (Services), Policy (Regulations)).
• The journal issues will be released Biannually (twice in a year) - January and July which will include a total 10 to 15 Research Papers and Cases per issue. An additional issue in the niche domain can also be published if good quality research papers are received by Publication Cell or University organizes a Conference.

Being India's first and only University in Transportation and Logistics, GSV will publish the journal - JATMML as Open Access (OA) journal for initial two years with a purpose to promote the widespread dissemination of research in transportation and logistics to benefit the sector.

Format 3: GSV Newsletter

GSV Newsletter will include following:

• Events at GSV
• Campus news, updates, and important dates (e.g., holidays, closures, registration deadlines).
• Administrative updates and new policies.
• New academic programs, courses, or research initiatives.
• Showcasing student, faculty, and alumni accomplishments, awards, and honors.
• Featuring successful alumni stories.
• Highlighting groundbreaking research or special projects.
• A calendar of upcoming campus events, such as lectures, performances, and sporting events.
• Recaps of recent events with photos and videos.
• Stories and interviews that build a sense of community and connection for the Transportation and Logistics sector.
• Helpful articles reporting the advancements in the niche areas of Transportation and Multimodal Logistics.

Frequency: Triannual (Three times a year) - May, September, December
