About GSV
Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), India’s first University in Transportation and Logistics sector, was established through the Central Universities (Amendment) Act 2022, passed by the Parliament in August 2022.
Working under the Ministry of Railways (Govt. of India), the University was operationalised on 6th December 2022. The University stands by its unique value proposition to offer logistics and transportation-focused applied education, training, skilling and research through experiential learning, multi-disciplinary research, and academia-industry interface. The Institute follows a demand-driven curriculum, while aligning with industry priorities.
GSV intends to lead the teaching, training and research in the logistics sector with a vision – “Innovation-led, Industry-driven University for creating, assimilating and imparting excellence of knowledge and actions accelerating development in the transport and logistics sectors”.
Introduction
The rapid urbanization and increasing global population in terms of the number of vehicles have placed immense pressure on existing transportation infrastructure systems. Integrating intelligent technologies is crucial to addressing the challenges of congestion problems, pollution, and safety. This conference aims to bring together leading researchers, academicians, industry professionals, government agencies, and policymakers to discuss and explore the latest advancements in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and their role in shaping the future of mobility worldwide.
The first edition of the conference will include sessions on both the fundamental and applied aspects of technology-driven mobility, including special related topics in sustainable Transportation, vehicular communication, renewable energy, hydrogen storage, e-vehicles, materials AI and blockchain in Transportation, vehicle ergonomics, lightweight materials, etc. We welcome experimental, modeling, and theoretical work in the format of a full-length research paper or a case study focusing on intelligent Transportation.
